Sam Slover is a designer, programmer, entrepreneur, and investor based between New York and Atlanta. He founded Pinto, the leading product database for food, grocery, and personalized nutrition info, which was acquired by SPINS.
His work focuses on making complex data more useful, visual, and personalized - especially across food, health, and consumer decision-making. His projects have been featured by The New York Times, Wired, Fast Company, Fortune, Bloomberg, INC., and others.
Today, Sam invests in early-stage founders across health, AI, data platforms, nutrition, human wellness & longevity, foodtech, CPG & retail, and the future of work. He also teaches data and design at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, where he created the course Designing for Data Personalization.
